SONRISA DENTAL

Sedation Dentistry

Safe, calm and comfortable dental care for anxious patients.

Many people feel anxious before a dental procedure. Sedation dentistry at SONRISA DENTAL is designed to help such patients receive treatment comfortably, using internationally guided protocols and thorough pre-assessment.

  • For patients with strong dental anxiety
  • For those with a sensitive gag reflex
  • For long or complex procedures
  • For individuals with special needs

Our approach focuses on comfort while keeping expectations realistic — sedation helps you relax, but we avoid exaggerated promises of “zero sensation”.

Types of Sedation

What sedation options do we offer?

  • Minimal sedation: Helps you relax but remain conscious.
  • Oral sedation: Medication taken before treatment to reduce anxiety.
  • Local anaesthesia + calming techniques: For patients needing reassurance.

For safety and ethics, SONRISA does not currently offer deep IV sedation or general anaesthesia within the clinic premises. For cases requiring those levels of sedation, we coordinate with hospital partners where full monitoring is available.

Our team also assists with travel schedules, short-duration treatment planning and comfortable hotel stays (under progress with ITC Kohenur & Peerless Hotels).
